I have a 3.5 year old and a 5 year old. What are the best, easiest, fastest places to eat at Magic Kingdom and at Epcot? Is it best to eat dinner outside the park and then return to the park after dinner?

    Hello Stacey,

My family always takes time to eat three square meals while at Disney. We may enjoy a full sit-down dinner or grab a quick bite to eat in between attractions. You can tell we're a family that likes its food!

My absolutely favorite place for a quick bite to eat in Epcot is Sunshine Season Food Fair. There's a little bit of everything here. The menu has a variety of salads and sandwiches plus a mix of Asian items. And because Sunshine Season is inside The Land Pavilion, it gives your family a spot to take a break from the summer heat or rain shower.

While at the Magic Kingdom, we stop at Columbia Harbour House for a basket of fish and chips and clam chowder. Or we hit Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn for a burger. Pecos Bills has a fixins bar. Enough said! Both restaurants have indoor seating.

I never had a preference over eating at a resort over eating inside the theme parks. I think that's because Disney has so many restaurants from which to choose. We always take a mid-day break and return to our resort. I always recommend a break to other families too. The rest does not only your kids good but your body will thank you for it too! And this break allows you the option of having dinner before returning to the theme parks.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
