Is there more for a 3 year old to do than a 2 year old? Does age not matter as most the rides have height restrictions? Is it worth waiting until my son is 3 & paying for a ticket to the parks or would we still be able to do most things if he was 2 &am

    Hello, Jo!

Walt Disney World Resort attraction requirements are based on height rather than age. The Disney Parks Blog has a very handy resource that will show you at a glance the height requirements of Walt Disney World Resort attractions per Theme Park. There are some extras that do require your child to be age three or older such as the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Pirates League. Visiting when your son is 'almost three' will save you a bit of money and shouldn't exclude him from enjoying the same attractions, parades, and shows that he would also enjoy once he turns three.

    Happy planning, Jo!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
