Hi, Andrea!
When my kids were little, I taught them right away who the "Cast Members" (Disney employees) were and that they would be wearing the oval shaped name tags. I told my kids that if they were ever separated from me to go right to a Cast Member to ask for help. You should do the same, alert a Cast Member immediately with any emergency situation.
Please make sure your child and a Cast Member can quickly reach you if needed, so write your cell phone number right on their
MagicBand. I have also seen shoe tags that attach to laces, or even washable tattoos that you can get printed with your cell phone number that you can put on the back of your kids' hands.
If your child has a tendency to wander, first talk to your child and explain how crowded it can be and not to let go of your hand! Also, keep your little one secured in a
stroller as much as possible. I always did this, especially at night, so I knew my little Mouseketeer(s) were safe and secure.
I hope your family has a safe and enjoyable visit to
Walt Disney World.
Cathy
