    My 7 & 9 year old want to wear river sandals, which are like flip flops with straps around the ankles, is that acceptable for all the rides? Or do they have to wear tennis shoes.

    Hey Dawn!

    My family wears flip flops & Birki sandals in the Parks and have had no problems.

    The only ride that I can think of where our sandals are an issue is Soarin' . In Soarin' it's a good idea for people wearing shoes that slip off easy to remove them and stow them in the basket under your seat.  If your kid's sandals stay secure with that ankle strap then they will be ok!
