I have a 4 & 2 year old. We are visiting WDW in September & were going to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort. We have since learned that the pool is under construction & we want to change resorts. Which is the best resort for kids-deluxe or

Hi. We have visited nearly all of the resorts and I can tell you what my son enjoyed about some of them. Of course preferences vary but this should help you to begin narrowing your choices.

All Star Movies - at the time our son was a fan of Herbie the Love Bug and the Toy Story characters. At this resort, he liked to walk around and see all his “friends”.

Port Orleans French Quarter - our son enjoyed the pool slide, boat to Downtown Disney, watching TV and doing coloring pages in the food court and walking the paths around the resort.

Animal Kingdom Lodge - this resort has a zero-entry pool which is great for young kids. Our son enjoyed the TV in the food court, watching cartoons in the lobby and watching the animals from our balcony.

Wilderness Lodge - He still loves the bridge in the lobby. He enjoys building with Lincoln Logs in the Whispering Canyon Café lobby and has always loved that restaurant. He liked the playground on the small beach area and digging in the sand.

Polynesian - children will enjoy the torches lit up at night. The Volcano pool is fun and it is zero entry. If you time it right, you can swim and watch the fireworks. Our son liked our first floor patio room. We all enjoyed the beach area and watching the Wishes fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant. The monorail is always a plus.

Grand Floridian - Our son enjoys listening to music in the lobby, the holiday decorations, the character meals at 1900 Park Fare, taking the boat to the Magic Kingdom, riding on the monorail, watching the fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant from the boat dock, the Pirate Adventure cruise, playing on the beach and in the zero entry pool. He says the slide is great.

Beach Club - The Stormalong Bay pool is fabulous. Our son loved the sandy bottom play area and the slide. Walking to Epcot and boating to the Hollywood Studios is fun and convenient.

I hope this helps you find a resort that will be perfect for your children and your budget!
