Welcome, Neer. Thanks for reaching out to us with your question. I'm going to try to use
Madame Leota's crystal ball from the
Haunted Mansion to get an answer to your question. Let’s do this!
Serpents and spiders, tail of a rat, call forth the spirits, wherever they’re at! Neer from the lovely continent down under is seeking your guidance. Wait a minute. I sense a magical vacation in the very near future. The spirits are whispering about magical experiences in front of a castle, entering something called
the Grid on a lightcycle, and…and…immersing yourselves in many disciplines of the arts at something called the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Neer, peer into the crystal ball with me. I think it’s even showing you in this very mansion, dancing at a swinging wake, spying on a frightfully fun séance, and meeting a delightfully creepy bride in an attic.
While her crystal ball has plenty of predictions, it can’t tell us for sure whether Lightning Lane Premier Pass will sell out on your park days. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel can purchase it seven days in advance at 7 a.m. EST, while all other Guests can purchase three days in advance at 7 a.m. Some dates do sell out by that three-day mark, especially weekends and days at Magic Kingdom. That said, as I write this, I can still easily purchase a Lightning Lane Premier Pass for any park this coming Saturday, even though it’s already past 10 a.m. EST. So don’t despair. The best plan is simply to be ready right at 7 a.m. when your purchase window opens. Just note that you'll need to be in the United States on the My Disney Experience mobile app in order to purchase this service.
And if Madame Leota’s crystal ball has taught me anything, it’s that nothing is set in stone. It’s showing me that the worst-case scenario is that you instead purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass for the day or days you can’t secure Lightning Lane Premier Pass (if unavailable). While these services don’t grant you the ability to walk into the Lightning Lanes of all eligible attractions in a single park (once per day) whenever you’d like, they
will allow you to secure up to three Multi Pass experiences in advance, with the ability to make another reservation each time you redeem one, and up to two Single Passes per person, per day. After all, the spirits are whispering that flexibility is your friend here. Consider this your happily haunted backup plan.
Neer, the séance may be spooky at times, but your plans for tackling the theme parks don’t have to be. Because when the future looks foggy, a good plan makes everything clearer. If you have any other questions,
I’m here for you. Crystal ball or not!
Hurry back,
Matt
