Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kim! Thank you for stopping by with your question!
I am happy to report that there is a way to get a microwave for your daughter's diabetic needs, so there is nothing to worry about!
The Walt Disney World Resort is very sensitive towards the needs of all their guests so they will be happy to provide a microwave for medical reasons so that your daughter can have her milk at night. These appliances cannot be generally requested, but in cases like this one, they will be happy to provide one at no cost. All you need to do is call
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort at (407) 934-3400 ten days prior to your visit and request the microwave so they can add a note to your reservation.
Remember, Kim, that depending on your child's medical condition she might be eligible to obtain a
Disability Access Service (DAS) pass, which is a tool designed to accommodate guests who aren’t able to wait in a conventional queue environment at the Parks due to a disability (including non-apparent disabilities). The DAS will be issued at Guest Relations main entrance locations at the Parks and will offer your family a return time for attractions based on the current wait time. As soon as your party finishes one attraction, you will be eligible to receive a return time for another. The best thing is that this service can be used in addition to the FastPass+ service.
I hope this information has been helpful, Kim. I know your family will have a great time at the The Walt Disney World Resort and your daughter will be just perfect!
See you real soon,
~Desiree
