Hi Christine!
How exciting that you're planning your twins' first trip to Walt Disney World!
On the Value end of the spectrum of amazing Disney Resort Hotels, you can't go wrong with the vibrant, new
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. For those 'down days' relaxing at the resort, the Big Blue feature pool area is the largest resort pool on property and features zero entry which is perfect for the little ones, as well as an interactive water play area and dry playgrounds.
At the Moderate level,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort features sandy beaches, a swashbuckling, Spanish fortress themed pool area complete with a great children's water play area, mini water slides and also a zero entry feature pool area.
At the Deluxe end of accommodation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend
Disney's Beach Club Resort. The onsite water park area, Stormalong Bay, is amazing for children of all ages. Sand bottom pools, beaches, zero entry pools, a lazy river ... this resort has it all! There's also an on-site Children's Activity Center for ages 3-12 open daily from late afternoon through the evening. The "Sandcastle Club" is the perfect place to drop the kids off fun, supervised activities while you relax! An hourly fee applies and advance reservations are recommended.
These are my top recommendations for a great resort to enjoy with little ones on your non-park days. If you're having a hard time deciding, or would like additional recommendations or tips, please don't hesitate to write me again and I'll be happy to assist you further!
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Christine!
