Hi Karen!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m also a mom of multiple kids with ages ranging from toddler to tween so I certainly understand your question. While my older boys want to enjoy more thrills, attractions like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and “it’s a small world” are more appropriate for my littlest Mouseketeer. One of my favorite things about our family trips to Walt Disney World Resort is that there is so much to do, everyone in my family can find plenty of attractions to enjoy!
Karen, I’m happy to share that you will be able to have different
Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections for your family members, but it looks like it may take an extra step to get there. When purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your entire family, you will
initially need to select the same experiences for everyone, however, you will have the ability to go back and modify your selections after completing the initial purchase. My suggestion is to make the initial selections for some of the more thrilling attractions first as they may be likely to fill faster. Then you can go back in and modify choices for your little one and another member (or members) of your party who will be joining them.
Don’t forget that if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you’ll be able to purchase your Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass selections seven days before your arrival for your entire length of stay! Purchases should be available at 7:00 AM on the first date of your eligibility window through the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. All other guests will be able to make their selections and purchase these products three days before visiting the parks.
Of course, we’ll all learn more about what this process looks like as it goes live on July 24 and there may even be tweaks or changes in the future. I’d recommend double-checking the
Walt Disney World Resort website for the latest information before your arrival this fall and you’re always welcome to
swing by planDisney again if you have any other questions!
Happy Planning!
