Hi Michelle, and a big ol' welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
If your little guy has plans for big fun at Walt Disney World, have no fear. At 41 inches tall, there is so much he can do! For example, did you know the height requirement on the super popular Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is only 38 inches? Your little daredevil makes that by a mile! Here are some other attractions he can ride that you may not have thought of:
- Test Track - 40 inches
- Soarin' - 40 inches
- Splash Mountain - 40 inches
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - 40 inches
- Star Tours - 40 inches
- The Barnstormer - 35 inches
- Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - Any height
- Astro Orbiter - Any height (it looks daring because it's high in the sky, but it's more in the style of Dumbo the Flying Elephant)
That's just the start. You may find that even though he's tall enough, your little guy may not want to ride some of the thrill rides, and that's ok, too. My 5-year-old is a thrill ride skeptic, but Dad is working on him! If you'd still like to ride, you may be able to take advantage of Disney's Rider Switch Service, so you and another adult can take turns riding while the other stays behind with your son.
There's a great height chart on the Disney Parks Blog that will show you just what rides your son measures up for.
I hope this helps you plan a big time for your little guy, Michelle. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions. Wishing you a magical vacation!
