can a 10 year old swim with the dolphins at Epcot if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian?

    Hello, Lori,

Thank you so much for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like you have a child who is so eager to learn and experience new things!  Epcot Sea Adventures - Disney's Dolphins in Depth is an incredible opportunity to have memory-making moments being up close and personal with dolphins. However, guests do need to be 13 years old.

As an alternative experience, did you know there is the Caring for Giants Tours where guests can get behind the scenes to see the elephants at Disney's Animal Kingdom in a closer proximity and learn more about them? Another immersive animal experience is the Wild Africa Trek where guests are given a true VIP experience around the Safi River Valley. I also highly recommend the Dine with an Animal Specialist where guests can enjoy a lovely lunch at Sanaa while learning about animals from a Walt Disney World animal expert. It really provides guests with a chance to learn so many wonderful things about the animals at Walt Disney World.  I'm hopeful that your child will find this just as enjoyable.
