Hi there, Kristine! Thanks for sailing to us with your question as you prepare for an incredible voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line.
I'm so glad you thought to double-check, because traveling with the correct
Travel Documentation is very important. Disney Cruise Line's policy is that for children over the age of 15 years, a physical government-issued photo ID will be required to be presented at check-in. Unfortunately, I do not believe the state paper learning permit will serve as an appropriate photo ID in this case. You will need to look into alternative identification options, such as a US passport, a US passport card, or a Trusted Traveler card from the US Department of State or an identification card (without driver privilege) from the state.
I'm sorry if this wasn't the news you were hoping to hear, but I hope you are able to quickly obtain what you need in time for your sailing. Once your documents are squared away, you will be ship-shape and ready to sail.
There will be
so much to enjoy once you get on the ship, and you can stay organized and informed using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Please be sure to download or update the app before you head out for your adventure. Kristine, if you have any further questions, please return to planDisney. My pals and I will be here to help you!
