Hi, there!
Karen, I'm so pleased to hear you're planning your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. You're sure to make precious memories together!
You ask a great question. There are lots of magical experiences to be had in each of the four theme parks, so choosing just two or three is challenging. With the addition of
Toy Story Land last year and the upcoming opening of
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,
Disney's Hollywood Studios is more exciting than ever! That said, I recommend skipping this theme park for your 3-day visit. I have a few suggestions for that third day!
Magic Kingdom Park is an absolute must-do for any family traveling with
little ones in tow.
Most of the attractions in Magic Kingdom Park are family-friendly which means they don't feature height requirements and they are just perfect for all ages. With three kids under the age of 10, my family always spends a minimum of two days at this park when we're visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. We've found it takes us at least two days to experience all our favorite attractions!
You might also want to consider spending your third day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. With
family-friendly attractions,
outstanding entertainment options, and
unforgettable animal encounters, my family always has "wild" adventures at this park!
I hope this was helpful, Karen. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
