My 16 year old special needs niece will only eat chicken nuggets, cheese pizza, and an occasional beef hotdog; but we don't want to be stuck eating the same good for 10 days. It seems very few restaurants have these items. Suggestions?

Hi Kathleen! The menus at many of the Disney restaurants have been changing a lot over the last few years. This is especially true with the children's menus. There has been an emphasis on encouraging more healthy choices.

We take our grandchildren a couple times each year to Walt Disney World so I understand the need for the chicken nuggets, pizza, and hotdogs. We are on vacation and we don't need the struggles at meal times to try to find something they will eat. The good news is that the chefs at the Disney restaurants will certainly work with you. If your niece needs chicken nuggets or something different that is not on the menu then please explain to your wait staff. They will likely get a chef to come and talk with you and they will do all they can to prepare something for her.

Before you make your dining reservations check out the Restaurant Menus on the Disney website. You can also see the most current menus at allears.net. When you have an allergy or someone with special dietary needs it is best to prepare before so checking out menus can really help you make your dining decisions. There are many great Disney restaurants to choose from and choosing the ones you wish to eat at will be the most difficult part of your vacation.
