Hi, I have a 3 year old with special needs and major food aversions. We will be providing his food when we go to restaurants. Will I be required to pay for him at the buffets? Thank you, Nicole

Hi Nicole! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are going to have so much fun visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your little one! There is a lot for young kiddos to experience at this magical destination and you will make memories that you'll remember forever. It is going to be so special!

I actually spoke with a Cast Member about this very recently, so I'm happy to pass along what I found out. As long as a Guest (ages 3 and up) does not eat from the buffet OR share from someone else's plate at all, you will not be charged for a buffet for your son. Let the Cast Member at the restaurant know your situation and that you brought food for your kiddo once you are seated. Then you should only be charged for those in your party that are actually eating off of the buffet.

Make sure to check out the Baby Care Centers that are available in all four theme parks during your visit. They are a great resource for changing, feeding and even just taking a rest with your little one. During an exciting day of exploring the theme parks, they can be the perfect place to take a quick break!

I hope this helps with your planning, Nicole! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
