I have a 10 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. We are planning to visit WDW in 2011. I know this a long way away, but I want to plan well. Plse tell me which parts of the park are specifically designed for these ages as the park is huge I've heard&

Paula, interest levels are so different even for children of the same age so it is hard to be specific what your children might enjoy in each park.  There are four different parks to visit: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom.  I encourage you to click HERE and let Disney filter some of the attractions to a list that they feel is age appropriate.  This does not mean that other rides and attractions couldn't be added but it is a great place to start.  You will see on the left side RECOMMENDED AGES. Please click here and submit the correct ages for your children to see the Disney ideas.

It is great you are starting early as you will enjoy the process and be well aware of the dining reservation dates and other important things to make a vacation magical.  As you proceed be sure and ask the panel members all the questions that come up as we love to share the pixie dust!
