I have an 11 year old son and a 9 year old daughter. We want to attend a water park one day during our 8 day visit in July of 2012. Which 1 water park do you suggest and how many hours should I plan to be at the water park? Thanks!

    Hi Margaret!

My son and I just love the two Water Parks in Walt Disney World!  I would recommend that you try Typhoon Lagoon for your first Water Park experience.  Typhoon Lagoon has an amazing a giant Surf Pool with 6-foot waves, snorkeling in a Shark Reef, and a water coaster called the Crush 'n' Gusher!  Also there are lots of water slides and a lazy river that encircles the whole Water Park.  Typhoon Lagoon is loads of fun for the whole family.  My son and I typically spend 4 to 6 hours in a Water Park when we go.  We get there when it opens in the morning and stay until about 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm that way we miss the heat of day especially during the summer.  I would recommend 4 to 6 hours in the Water Park.

I hope that you and your family have an amazing time at one of the the incredible Water Parks of Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
