My 13 year old son and I are going to WDW in August, 2011 and will have the Deluxe Dining plan. He is a real picky eater and may want to order off the Kids menu. Is he able to order off the kids menu or the adults menu?

    Hi Brenda!

I am happy to tell you that anyone can order off the kid's menu in Walt Disney World, even adults!  You will be charged an adult dinning credit if your son chooses a kid's meal at a sit down restaurant.  I would recommend paying in cash for your son's kid's meal if you need to save your Table Service Dining Credits.  Since you have the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, you have 3 Table Service Credits per person to use each day, so running out of Table Service Credits may not be an issue for your family.  If you go to a buffet, then your son will be charged an adult buffet price, but he can pick and choose what he likes to eat.  My son is 13 years old as well and he often orders from the kid's menu too!

I hope that you and your son make many magical, meal memories on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
