My 4 year old son is a train fanatic. Is there a store that has the best selection?

    Hi Christi!

I have three boys and they have all had train obsessions as well!  Guess who else had a big train obsession???  Walt Disney himself!  All of the Disney Resort gift shops sell a complete train set that features Mickey and the gang.  It is a pretty good size with four cars in all and an 18 foot track.  Many other smaller train figures are sold throughout the parks.  I also have some super cool places for you and your little train fan to check out!

One of my favorite spots in all of WDW can often be overlooked.  While you are strolling through Epcot's Germany, you will see some adorable trains travelling through an miniature Bavarian village.  We have literally spent the better part of an hour one evening checking out all of the details and watching the trains go round and round!

Over in Disney's Wilderness Lodge Villas, you just HAVE to visit the Carolwood Pacific Railroad Room!  Since Walt loved trains so much, it was only fitting to dedicate an entire room to his passion.  Your son should love checking out this entire room on miniature trains - so cool!  All Aboard!!!!

    Much pixie dust,
