Hi! My 3 year old son and I will be taking our first Disney trip in a few days. We plan on being at the parks all day and I’m sure he will be tired from all the walking. Are strollers available to rent?

    Hi, Marisa!

Renting a stroller is a great idea. You can easily walk several miles in a single day, so hopping into a buggy can certainly be helpful for our little Mouseketeers.

You are welcome to bring your own stroller from home or rentals are available at each of the theme parks. The stroller rentals are near the entrance of the parks. There is a daily rental fee, and a small discount if you purchase a multi-day rental. If you take a mid-day break, you can get another stroller without paying again. Simply show your receipt to get another set of wheels! Strollers must remain in the parks, so drop off your rental as you depart the main gates each day.

If you choose to bring a stroller from home, be prepared to collapse your stroller on parking lot trams and Disney buses. The advantage of bringing your own from home is that you can have your stroller around the resort and at the airport. And, of course, you can avoid the rental cost!

Have fun "wheeling" around Walt Disney World with your little one!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
