Hello. I have a 3 year old son and I want to use a stroller for when we come to Disney. I have a basic stroller that does not recline and has no storage. Should I get a stroller with storage and that reclines for the amount of walking we will be doing?

Hello again Krishonda! Thanks so much for sharing another great question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's so exciting to see that your vacation is a few short days away!

Your idea for a new stroller is a fantastic one! Prior to one of our vacations, we invested in a high quality stroller and it was worth every penny. Not only were my kiddos comfortable while we strolled through the theme parks, we had plenty of storage room and it ended up being the stroller we used on a daily basis at home.

I would highly recommend you take a small blanket or towel with you when you are visiting the parks or Disney Springs. When you park your stroller outside of an attraction during the day, cover the seat and back of the stroller with the blanket or towel until you return. Strollers can get very hot in the warm Florida sun. The blanket or towel will help keep the stroller a bit cooler.

I recall you were concerned about rain in another question. You might also want to invest in a rain cover for your stroller. We had one for ours and it helped tremendously!

One final suggestion regarding your stroller - be sure to put something on it that makes it easily identifiable. It will seem like everyone at Walt Disney World Resort has the same stroller you do when you are looking for yours.

Before you invest in a stroller, I want to make you aware of a couple of Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules. "Strollers larger than 36"x 52" (92cm x 132cm)," are not permitted and the same goes for "any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair or stroller, or pulled by a person, including wagons."

Thank you again for allowing the Disney Parks Moms Panel to share tips and information with you. Have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
