I have 5 year old son who has sensory intergration disorder and on autism spectrim. I have been doing some research and see he may be able to get pass to help him through the park. Do I need any documents from doctor to get pass once at park ?

    Hi Tiea,

You do not need any special documentation in order to receive a Disability Access Service (DAS) card at Walt Disney World.  The DAS card can be obtained for Guests who are unable to tolerate long lines due to a disability, including non-apparent disabilities.  In order to discuss the needs of your child and see if a DAS card is right for him you should go to Guest Relations just inside the Main Entrance of any of the theme parks.  There you can visit with a Cast Member about your son's disability and they will work with you individually to provide assistance.  Since you do not want to be rushed, I advise to do this well in advance of any planned events such as dining reservations or FastPass+ return times.

With a little planning, you can create a wonderful and relaxing vacation for your family.  Here is a link for you to download a Guide to Guests with Cognitive Disabilities.  In addition you can find a wealth of information about vacation planning for Guests with disabilities by reading other questions and answers here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel site under the Walt Disney World Specialty.  You can select the Planning & Budgeting category in the left navigation pane and then select Disabilities.

    Have a Magical vacation!
