Is my 6 year old son required to do the pre-fix at Space 220 Restaurant? We cannot get reservations the Lounge. He is a VERY fussy eater and will only eat food we pack from home, or a side of fries. The 2 adults would be dining regularly. it w

How ya doin' Jodie and welcome to planDisney!

As if going to the Walt Disney World Resort isn't enough, you also have the most star-studded reservation on property. This trip is going to be out of this world! Space 220 Restaurant is a cosmic trip to some fun flavors for the entire family. Let's see if we can find your SONshine something to eat!

Space 220 Restaurant offers a pix fixe menu for lunch and dinner and the best part is, the little space travelers have a menu of their own. They can choose their own Star Course a.k.a. an entree, a Supernova Sweet, and a Celestrial Beverage to wash it all down with. You will have to order your son one of the full meal options but the Cosmic Chicken and the Smash Burger option both come with fries for your little one to munch on and the choice of ice cream or a cupcake for dessert may be just the incentive he needs to finish that meal.

Jodie, since you'll be in EPCOT anyway, be sure to visit the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The Outdoor Kitchens offer a variety of homegrown treats that may be a great way to crack the fussy eater code.

Pro-tip: Get your little one involved! My goddaughter, once a picky eater, is now my Chief Snack Helper for all EPCOT festivals and takes pride in reading the menus and figuring out our must-eats. Making the whole thing and her feel very important was just the push she needed to branch out of her food comfort zone.

    Happy planning!
