My 16 year old son was recently diagnosed with JIA and as one step of treatment he is having a gluten free diet. Can we request gluten free menus to be emailed to us in order to decide if we should change our ADRs?

    Hi Bryant!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My son has severe food allergies, so I know how challenging it can be to plan your vacation dining when you are accommodating special dietary requirements. In our experience, the Cast Members and Chefs have always taken so much care to ensure that my son has safe and tasty meals during our vacation! In general, most table service restaurants can accommodate gluten-free dining by simply asking to speak to the Chef when you place your order. I recommend that you add your son's gluten-free diet to your reservation either when you book your reservation online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Also, both table service and quick service restaurants have allergy-friendly menus that will help your son when ordering.

In order to help plan your reservations and determine the restaurants that can best work for your family, I recommend that you email the Special Diets Team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. While ingredients and menu availability is always subject to change, they can give you the best information and advice for your trip!

Please let me know if you have other questions as you continue to plan your vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
