My 11 year old son and I plan on visiting WDW this year. My son wants to eat at 50's Prime Time Cafe. I'm afraid that nothing on the adult menu will appeal to him. Are older children permitted to order from the kids menu? We're not on the dining plan.

    Hi Jolene!

50's Prime Time Cafe' is one of my favorite restaurants for food and atmosphere when visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I'm always able to find something that even my most pickiest eaters will enjoy, which usually centers around Aunt Liz's Golden Fried Chicken.  With my older children that Disney considers adults, I have found that cast members are completely accommodating for picky taste buds.  50's Prime Time Cafe is no exception, the cast members gladly let my "adult" child order from the kids menu and even came up with a solution that allowed him to receive an adult meal with sides from the children's menu such as the fruit or macaroni.  Cast members often deal with the "adult but not really" situation when it comes to kids menus, just let them know and often they will be able to come up with a solution that allows your son much more appealing options.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have anymore questions!

    Best Wishes!
