    Hi, my 11 year old son and I plan to run the Princess 5k in February. Do all resorts have bus transportation to the race and when should we board a bus by? How long of a walk is it to the Epcot gate from the finish line if that is allowed? Thank you!

    Howdy Jessica!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I have had some of my favorite memories running the Disney Princess 5K with my family!  I am so excited to help you with this question!

    The Disney Princess 5K is a blast from the moment you arrive at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo until you receive your 5K Finisher Medal!  There will be specific Walt Disney World Resort hotels that will be providing transportation, and if you are not staying in one of those, then I highly recommend reserving a Disney Minnie Van!  If your resort hotel is providing transportation to the Disney Princess 5K, then Hakuna Matata, No Worries!  The buses will drop you off very close to the waiting area where you can dance and get warmed up to some fun beats!  There is no greater joy than dancing at four in the morning with your kiddos!  We were able to board the bus from our Walt Disney World Resort hotel at 4 a.m., and we had plenty of time to enjoy all the festivities before the race began.  After the race, you will be quite a distance from the front gates of EPCOT.  There will be buses located very close so you can be transported back to your resort hotel.  Then, you can get refreshed for a great day at the parks.  Also, don’t forget to bring your Medals to enjoy throughout the day!  I hope this helps with all of your questions, Jessica.  If you have any more questions, please come back and share them with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
