    My 8 year old son loves Kylo Ren and we plan to meet him at Star Wars Launch Bay in HS. Are children allowed to dress like their favorite characters while visiting Walt Disney World? He has a costume we purchased from our local Disney Store. Thanks!

    Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about your upcoming trip.  I imagine your son is incredibly excited to explore all the Star Wars fun at Launch Bay and especially to meet Kylo Ren.  He is welcome to wear a costume as they are allowed for guests under the age of 13.  Please know that the costume cannot drag on the ground and if it has multiple layers it may be searched.  If he wears a mask, it must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be seen at all times. Objects that appear to be weapons are also not permitted.
