Our 5 year old son is a HUGE Star Wars fan, but we just found out about Star Wars weekends and we will miss them since our trip is 05/05/11 - 05/12/11. What other Star Wars attractions are there. Star Tours also closed for refurbishment during our stay.

    Hi Sheron!

My son and I love all things Star Wars!  If your son loves Star Wars, then he has to try the Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios.  Your son can become a young Padawan and learn some lightsaber moves which will be put to use dueling a famous figure from the Dark Side of the Force.  To get your son signed up to participate in this wonderful interactive show make sure that as soon as Hollywood Studios opens that you head to the Star Tours area to sign your son up for a Jedi Training Academy showtime during that day.  My son and I went to Star Wars Weekends for the first time in May of 2010 and we had such a blast!  So if your son loves Star Wars, then you may want to consider scheduling a future trip to Walt Disney World during Star Wars Weekends.

May the Force be with you and your son on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
