Hello! My 26-year old son and I are hoping to come to Disney World on Dec 31, 2021. We want to go to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, we need to park, need park passes and want a really nice dinner. Any deals for something like that?

    Hi Lorie,

It sounds like you're planning to celebrate the New Year in style at the Walt Disney World Resort. How exciting!

My family and I really enjoyed celebrating New Year's Eve at Magic Kingdom Park one year, and it remains one of our most fun memories of all our many Walt Disney World Resort vacations. There was so much excitement in the air, and just being able to experience all the festive magic that day was memorable.

The best way to find out about current promotions at the Walt Disney World Resort is to check out the "Special Offers, Deals & Discounts" information to see what special offers are available. I also encourage you to follow the Disney Parks Blog as a great way to keep up to date on all the exciting news about the Walt Disney World Resort. It's a great way to stay in the know about events and experiences that are added for New Year’s Eve.

As you plan your visit, you'll want to be sure to look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. The Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar will show you which theme parks have reservations available to select on the days you want to visit. At the moment, for example, the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar shows that Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios have reservations available for your date, and you'll want to check for updates and current availability.

You can purchase your theme park tickets online and through the My Disney Experience mobile app. After you purchase your theme park tickets, you can make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system.

When it comes to dining, you can explore the many dining options available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and make your reservations online up to 60 days in advance. If you've made a theme park reservation to go with your theme park admission, you might want to consider selecting a dining experience located inside that theme park you'll be visiting. Walt Disney World Resort recommends that Guests book in-park dining for the theme park where you have a theme park reservation. You can use the location filters on the dining reservations page to select locations for theme parks. You can also use the location filters to select dining options at a nearby Resort hotel that's in close proximity to the theme park you'll be visiting.

You can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to quickly check for dining availability. Simply tap the "+" icon in the app's main menu, tap the "Check Dining Availability" tile, enter your party size, and choose your date and meal time. You'll see the restaurant options and the times available.

You can check out the latest "Know Before you Go" information about making your dining plans.

Lorie, here's wishing you a wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
