Hi! My 2 year old son is completely potty trained will he be allowed to swim on our Disney Cruise on the dream? He does not have accidents and does not need swim diapers. He looks young so I’m worried!

    Ahoy Morgan!

First of all, let me say - way to go, Mom! As a preschool teacher, I know all too well how tough potty training can be, and it sounds like you and your little buccaneer have rocked it!

I'm happy to hear you'll soon be sailing on the gorgeous Disney Dream. My family has been lucky enough to cruise on the Dream on several occasions, and we love it - there's so much to see and do, and it's simply beautiful!

Every ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet features as least three pools for guests to enjoy, and also a water play area for the littlest cruisers. On the Disney Dream, guests have access to Donald's Pool (family pool), Mickey's Pool (family pool), Nemo's Reef (8 and under), and Quiet Cove Pool (adults only). While Donald's Pool and Mickey's Pool have a suggested age requirement of age three and up, the main concern is children that are not potty trained visiting the family pools. You are more than welcome to speak with the lifeguard and pool attendants on duty to ask if it would be ok to visit these areas with your child, who is fully potty trained.

I hope this helps with your planning - have a magical day! - Diane W.
