    Hi! My 8 year old son and I are coming to Disney in June 2009. I am trying to research things to make it a memorable trip. Our flight gets in at 2:21pm and I was wondering by the time we check into our hotel which park do you suggest we start with?

    Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel to make your trip memorable!

    By the time you get to your room and get settled it's going to be getting close to dinner time.  Since nothing says Disney like the Magic Kingdom, I would suggest it for your first night with dinner at one of the monorail resort restaurants like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary or Ohana's at the Polynesian!

    If you get early dinner reservations, eat first then head to the park to walk down a lit up Main Street and then ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the dark before catching the fireworks.  If you get a late dinner reservation, no worries.  Go straight to Magic Kingdom, head up Main Street and grab a snack in Tomorrowland before riding Buzz Lightyear!  It won't take you much time to leave the park and hop on the monorail for dinner!
