Welcome to planDisney, Amanda, I am so happy you found us to ask your questions.
I am so sorry that your last visit to Disneyland was not as enchanting as you would have liked. I hope that I can help ease your mind a bit and make this upcoming trip a little more enjoyable for your whole family.
I'm happy to share that there is a wonderful service for guests who, due to their disabilities, are unable to wait in traditional queues. This is called the
Disability Access Service (DAS)! There are some changes coming to DAS this fall, and they're all for the better! Soon, you'll be able to schedule a video chat with a Cast Member up to 30 days prior to your trip to inquire about the program and get everything all set up if it's deemed that this will be the best way to meet your family's needs. You'll also be able to select up to two attractions per day to arrange prior to your trip with DAS Advance planning. Disney also recently announced that Guests will be able to make DAS plans within the Disneyland mobile app, too, which will be super convenient! You might also check out the
Services for Guests with disabilities.
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Amanda. I'm sending pixie dust that your family and especially your son have a truly magical vacation!
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
