Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cassandra.
I am honored you contacted us and empathize with your situation, as I used to experience challenges with my Autistic son during our earlier visits. Walt Disney World Resort makes a sincere effort to afford all Guests an enjoyable and inclusive visit through
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities.
May I suggest speaking with a Cast Member at any Theme Park
Guest Relations with all in your travel party including your son, to discuss Disney's
Disability Access Service (DAS) designed to accommodate Guests who are unable to wait in a conventional queue by affording them a return time for their desired attraction? If this service is deemed beneficial for your son, a digital photo image will be taken of him and everyone’s Theme Park Ticket Cards or MagicBands will be associated to your son’s (DAS) information. The (DAS) can be utilized with
FastPass+ service to enhance your visit.
Please refer to the
Resource for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities which offers a Visual Schedule for touring and the
Attraction Details Guide for all 4 Theme Parks to further acclimate and prepare your son.
