My 10 year old son will almost always want to order from children's menu. Are we allowed to order kids meal for him and pay by cash? Would this enable us to apply his unused Table Service credit at another meal for an adult?

    Hello Megan,

I can absolutely understand where you are coming from. Our kids want to exhibit their independence and show they're all grown up, but there's just something about those meals off the children's menus!

Let the Cast Member serving your table know that you would like to pay for your son's meal separately. That way, you will be able to pay cash for his dinner and use the Disney Dining Plan entitlements for your and your husband's meals.

With the "leftover" DDP credits, may I suggest treating you and your husband to a dinner for two? Date night at Disney is a fabulous way to cap off a vacation!

    Hope this helps!
