Hi Will my 16 year old son be able to check into our DVC resort?

    Hello Feliciano,

Welcome to planDisney! It’s always great to assist a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member with a question so let’s hop to it.

I verified with Member Services and they confirmed that the minimum age required to check-in and make a reservation is 18 years old. The person who books and checks in is referred to as the Primary Guest. The Primary Guest also needs to provide a credit card with the reservation holder’s name.

Be sure to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account and complete the online-check-in before you arrive. This might help ensure your room is ready when you arrive at the resort. When it comes to travelling around Walt Disney World Resort, there are many different modes of transportation Guests can take. Depending on where you are staying, you could travel by Disney Skyliner, boat, bus or personal vehicle. You can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to check the bus schedule so you’re ready to go as soon as the bus arrives.

Feliciano, I hope this information is helpful to you and that you enjoy your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. If you think of any other questions, please revisit planDisney - we are here to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Candace
