I have a 2 year old and a six year old, what would be the best area to visit so they can have lots of fun in Downtown Disney??? And can I bring my own stroller???

    Hi Tory!

There are several great areas to bring your kids to at Downtown Disney.  First, for dining, my favorite choices for young kids are the Rainforest Cafe and the new TRex Restaurant.  Both are owned by the same company, and feature amazing, themed dining areas of (you guessed it...) a tropical rainforest and prehistoric geographies.  At TRex, the folks at Build-A-Bear Workshop offer a Build-A-Dino location, that my boys visited on our most recent trip.  One of their custom dinos is keeping me company on my desk as I type this!

After you eat, there are several shops that are a blast for kids.  The World of Disney is the largest character store at the resort, and features everything and anything you'd want to take home to remind you of your fabulous trip!  My kids love walking around this shop!  Once Upon a Toy (next door) is another fabulous shop that kids generally love to browse in.  (This is where you can find a huge Mr. Potato Head "bar" that you can customize with Disney pins, ears, etc.!!!!)  There are lots of interactive stations that should keep your kids busy!  Finally, no trip Downtown is complete without a visit to the LEGO Imagination Center.  On display here, you'll find some of the largest and most elaborate LEGO structures ever (including a permanent display in the lake!)  In addition, there's a huge play area with tables filled with LEGOs for kids to play with.  Between the LEGO store and McDonald's located next door, there is a lovely little playground for your kids to enjoy as well.

These are just a few ideas for a great night "Downtown".  Have a wonderful evening!
