Greetings Melinda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Get ready to make memories with your little one at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The first time I visited with mydaughter, I was very concerned about height requirements. I was so happy to see that there were few attractions she was not able to ride due to her height, as most are designed keeping families in mind and how they appreciate staying together.
I highly recommend that you check
height restrictions online for attractions that you believe your daughter might not be able to ride. At this time, Guests must be 38 inches or taller to experience Slinky Dog Dash, so plan to play big at Toy Story Land. The minimum height for Soarin’ Around the World is currently 40 inches and for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 38 inches. At the entrance of all attractions you will find the height requirements and even a place for kids to get measured. Restrictions may also be found on theme park maps and on the My Disney Experience mobile app. Cast Members make sure all Guest follow these requirements for a safe experience.
If your daughter is adventurous as my princess, she will have an amazing time! Slinky Dog Dash and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are great roller-coasters and kids have a blast! Soarin’ Around the World is a very gentle flight with beautiful sights (and even smells), and it has become one of my daughter’s favorites. I believe your little one will enjoy these attractions, but make sure you get acquainted with them and how they work in order to make the best decision based on your child and her personality. You know your little one better than anyone to tell if she will be overwhelmed by any of these attractions.
Thank you for sending your question our way! I hope this helps you while planning and that you come back real soon!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
