    I have a 13 year old. Can I set it up so he can use the navigator app but not access the internet outside the app?

    Welcome aboard! So happy to hear you and your pirate crew have plans to sail the seven seas. I also SEA you are a parent of teens like me. So the question of WiFi and connectivity would naturally be a hot topic for your upcoming cruise. 

    Good news! You absolutely can have your teen use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and not be able to access other Wifi features. Connecting to the WiFi using the app is free of charge, but he would have to be given access to your Wifi package (if you purchase one) to be able to surf the net while surfing the seven seas. Connect@Sea is the provider for onboard internet service. So simply not purchasing a Connect@Sea package or not allowing him access is the answer. That way, you can be assured your son will spend more time in the moment and not online. I'll bet that once he makes friends with other kids in Vibe, he won't pay much attention to his phone!

    Don’t you just love all the features on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app? I sure do! Letting kids use the app to keep them updated on activities and entertainment is a great idea. But more important than that, I need them to be able to tell me where they are on the ship and give me updates from time to time.
