I have an 18 year old Senior in high school. We are the only two going to Disney. I placed the app on their phone and then realized that they can make changes and use fast passes etc. How do I restrict them from changing the plans in the app.

    Hi Angelina!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a perfect senior trip to take with your child! I have teenagers as well, and we all still enjoy our trips to Walt Disney World. There is something really nice about being there with older kids and not worrying about strollers, naptimes, etc.

Since the mobile app is already on their phone, you can open it and log out of your My Disney Experience account and have them create their own. Since you're in charge of the plans, if they are logged in to their own account on the app, they won't be able to modify what you have made.

However, when we go on trips, both of my sons are logged in to my account. They do have access to change things, but this has come in handy when they go off on their own and want to adjust a FastPass+ time. As long as they know not to change anything without asking you, it isn't really a bad idea to let them have that access. But, you know your child best, so if you think it's an issue, then you can have them create their own My Disney Experience account to still use the app.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
