My 11 year old would like to ride Guardians of the Galaxy alone since none of the adults in the group want to do it. Is that allowed?

    Hi there Maeve!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It sounds like your 11 year old is quite brave to experience Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! While this attraction does boast some thrills, it's also full of energy and fun. Your child will be happy to know that they can ride this attraction without parental supervision. Children must be older than 7 years old to ride any attraction alone, and any child 7 and under must be accompanied by someone at least 14 years of age.

Your child will have so much fun helping Rocket rescue the Guardians of the Galaxy that I wouldn't be surprised if he or she wants to experience this attraction multiple times. Did you know that there are different ride sequences and songs so each time you ride may be a new experience? How cool is that?! My advice for your child is to grab a FASTPASS for this very popular attraction to reduce time waiting in line. Also, if he or she is a fan of the movie, I would make sure they check out the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance-Off located in front of this attraction. Here you can interact with Star-Lord, Gamora, and even Groot. To verify the times this event happens daily, just check the Disneyland app under "Entertainment."

I hope you and your family have a MARVELous vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth, and feel free to return with any other questions.
