My 5 year old was recently diagnosed with adhd and a sensory disorder. Sometimes waiting in lines is difficult ? I was told there pass to help him with waiting in line. What medical documentation should I bring, in case we this is needed?

Hi Karen. Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Walt Disney World Resort provides a host of services to help all Guests maximize their Resort experience.

The accommodation you are specifically asking about is the Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS allows your son and those in your traveling party to schedule a later return time for an attraction. Once you schedule your return time, you can enjoy yourself around the theme park and then return at the appropriate time. Once you have redeemed your active return time, you can then set up a new return time. Plus, you can use this service in conjunction with the FastPass+ Service. You can find a complete list of locations where you can use the DAS (as well as other invaluable information) in the Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities found online within the Guests with Autism and Cognitive Disabilities information. Be sure you review and download the DAS information as well, as it will walk you through the step by step registration process. The registration process is a conversation to assess the needs of the Guest. A note from your son's doctor explaining the need for the DAS may help make your registration process more efficient.

After you have reviewed all of the available information, if you have any further questions, you can contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email The amazing Cast Members will provide you further details to help your son have a safe and magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.
