I have a 10 year old that we purchased the dining plan for and I'm sure he will not be happy with most of the adult offerings on the menu at the sit down restaurants. He is very picky ... can he still order off the kids menu?

    Hi Norma,

Unless you are at a restaurant that offers a buffet, your son would certainly be welcome to select something from the kid's menu.  However, my advice to you would be to pay out-of-pocket for that kid's meal rather than burning an adult Disney Dining Plan credit.  Save that credit for a signature dining experience (that would require two credits per person) or for an adult in your party at another meal.

Another thing to keep in mind as you dine at Walt Disney World is that the chefs there are completely committed to meeting the dining requests and needs of their guests.  If there is some way the chefs could alter one of the dishes on the menu so that it would better suit your son, definitely make that request.  I'm sure they will do everything in their power to make your dining experiences magical!

Wishing you a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
