I have an 8 year old and would like to purchase the no-expiration ticket because we plan to visit again in a few years. If I purchase the child ticket, will she still be able to use it when she is over 9?

Hi, Heather!   Once your princess turns 10, you can take her and her ticket to any ticket window and they will upgrade the remaining days of her child ticket into an adult ticket.   Your daughter needs to be present, and she needs to have used at least one day of the ticket in order for it to be eligible for the upgrade.

So go ahead with the child ticket, and make sure you use at least one day of it.   Tuck it away in a safe place when you return home so you can find it easily when you return to Disney in a few years.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
