Welcome, Roy!
Thanks for bringing such an important question to planDisney. I’m happy to help you understand what’s possible for these friends to go on a special trip together this fall to the
Walt Disney World Resort.Guests must be 18 years old to reserve a Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, have a credit card in their name for the reservation, and present photo identification upon check-in.
Guests must be 14 years old to enter the theme parks unaccompanied so these two 19-year-olds should be able to enjoy everything they desire on their special vacation together. Please note that the minimum age for most car rental agencies in Florida is 21, but a personal vehicle is not necessary with all the
complimentary transportation options to navigate the Walt Disney World Resort. Staying on property is a wonderfully safe way to enjoy this vacation on their own while having access to everything needed to get to the theme parks.
Your 19-year-old planner sounds like my kind of Disney pal! Since you must be 13 to have a Disney account, please be sure they are maximizing the magic using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. They may also reach out to us at planDisney directly with any detailed questions, using that login.
This fall will be a beautiful time to enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort! I love the festive fall décor in the theme parks, and perhaps they can enjoy a spooky evening at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with a separate ticket for that event. The
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will be in full swing, but don’t let the name fool you – there are many great experiences and tastes to experience in World Showcase without drinking alcohol. No matter the special event, they will certainly
enjoy #AlltheDisneythrills with an upcoming visit.
Please let us know if we can help ease your mind for any other aspect of their special getaway, Roy!
Have a magical day,
Amy
