Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Matthew!
I am so happy to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. My son has multiple
food allergies, so I know how important it is to make sure that restaurants can accommodate your little one's allergies and ensure that meals are safely prepared avoiding cross-contamination. There are no guaranteed allergy-free or peanut-free kitchens at Walt Disney World Resort. However, we have always found that the Chefs and Cast Members are willing to go above and beyond to make sure my son can enjoy tasty and safe meals despite his allergy.
At any table service restaurant or buffet you are dining at, I recommend that you add your little one's allergy to your dining reservation by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Then, when you arrive at your reservation, be sure to remind your server of your little one's food allergy and ask to speak with the Chef. For table service restaurants, the Chef can help you determine what your little one can safely eat. For buffets and family-style meals, this is particularly important because you will be able to work with the Chef to determine the best way for your little one to be accommodated. In cases where we have determined our son could not be safely accommodated off of the buffet due to cross-contamination, the Chefs were willing to cook for him separately!
One great allergy tip: Guests are allowed to bring outside food into the theme parks, so I like to bring allergy-safe snack and treat options for my little one in my backpack so I always have a safe snack or a special treat!
Please let me know if you have any additional questions as you continue to plan your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
