Can my 8 year old order off the adult menu at any of the restaurants (I.e. Be our guest) and be charged the kid rate or would they be charged at the adult rate?

    Hey Lauren!

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your great question about dining at Walt Disney World Resort.

Lauren, as the mother of a 9-year-old who eats from adult menus, I am glad I get to answer this question for you! My daughter is a very adventurous diner and loves trying dishes from the regular menus. However, most kids menu dishes have generous portions that are more than enough for most Mouseketeers-in-training!

If your 8 year-old wants to try something new and chooses a dish that is on the adult or regular menu at any Walt Disney World Resort, you will pay the full price listed on the menu. Unfortunately, the dish’s price will not be prorated to that of a “kids menu” price.

I hope this helps answer your question, Lauren! I hope your family enjoys dining at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. If you have any other questions, please visit us again!
