Does my 9 year old have to order from the kids menu if I have the Disney dinning plan?

    Hi Perla,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel.  If you are paying for your meals out of your pocket, you can order anything from the kids menu, even for an adult. I am not a big eater, I have done it a couple of times and it worked perfectly for me.
But, if you have a Disney Dining Plan, policy states that kids must order from kids menu and adults must order from the regular menu. However, it will depend on the restaurant chosen and the cast member who will be serving you. I have seen guests ordering from kids menu, or even asking for special size portions, specially on quick service restaurants. At those restaurants, the important thing that matters for them is the amount of credits that you are using. Talk to your server, I am sure he will do his best to help you to get what you need for your family. Don't hesitate to come back and ask us another question.

    Have a magical day!
