Hello, Maeve!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question about
dining at the Disneyland Resort.
While the kids’ menu items are designed for children ages 9 and under, it’s been my experience that the servers at table-service restaurants are very accommodating. Although it is up to the discretion of Cast Members at each dining location, an older child (or even an adult) can typically order an item from the kids’ menu, and I’ve been given the option of ordering an adult portion of a dish from the kids' menu. If your daughter doesn’t see anything on the regular menu she likes, ask your server if she can order a kids' menu item instead. Keep in mind, however, that when visiting
Character Dining locations and buffets or enjoying a prix fixe meal or dining package, anyone in your party who is 10 years of age or older must be charged the adult price.
Disneyland Resort dining reservations are highly recommended and available up to 60 days in advance at select restaurants. Reservations can be made
online or by calling (714) 781-3463. I hope this helps you plan, Maeve, and that your family enjoys a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please come back with more questions as your vacation approaches. We’d love to assist you!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
