Hi Clare, welcome to planDisney!
You and/or someone you love is going to Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow! In the voice of Donald Duck, "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!" I can imagine the look of wonder and amazement on your niece's face the moment she lays eyes on the Main Street, U.S.A., Christmas tree and Cinderella Castle. Experiencing the magic of Disney through the eyes of a child is pure pixie dust.
Each Guest over the age of three requires valid admission, a
theme park reservation, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card). Each vacation entitlement must be connected to an individual in
My Disney Experience. Children under the age of 13 must have their My Disney Experience account profiles managed by an adult. If your niece's park ticket has not yet been linked, I recommend giving the ticket confirmation number to her parents. As part of the
ticket linking process, they can create a My Disney Experience account profile for her under one of their accounts. Don't forget to make a
theme park reservation! If your niece's ticket is already linked to a
My Disney Experience account profile managed under your account, connect with the parents as
Family and Friends to give them access to her profile.
Because MagicBands are linked to individuals, your niece cannot use a parent's MagicBand to enter the theme park. I understand you'd prefer not to pick up an admission card for her at Will Call, so I'll share that a MagicBand can be purchased for her at a location such as
Disney Pin Traders at Disney Springs and linked to her account prior to entering a park. A third option is for the adult managing your niece's My Disney Experience account profile to use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to download a Disney MagicMobile pass for her on their iPhone, Apple Watch, or Google Pay enabled Android phone (three small lines at the bottom righthand corner of the home page --> Disney MagicMobile). Once downloaded, a Disney MagicMobile pass can be shared with others via Messages on eligible iPhones and Apple Watches.
Here's my
direct line for any follow-up questions, Clare. You get the Best Aunt Ever award for trying to give your niece her Best Day Ever!
Plan magic; planDisney.
