Hi there, Deborah! Welcome to planDisney!
It seems like you're thinking of planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Even better, you'll be visiting with a little one! There is nothing better than watching a child's eyes light up the first time they see
Cinderella Castle or the way they jump for joy when they see a Cast Member holding a giant bunch of Mickey balloons!
Personally, I think two years old is the perfect age to bring your little one to Walt Disney World. Not only do they make it more magical for you with their giggles and pure joy, but you do not need to
purchase a park ticket for them to enter! That's right! Up until the age of three, your little Mouseketeer is free! Of course, any accompanying Guests ages 3 and up will need a ticket to enter the parks.
With that age group, I'd love to make a few recommendations that may be perfect for your little prince or princess during your visit.
Magic Kingdom Park is where you will find the most rides and experiences for smaller Guests, including a large number of attractions with no height requirements. Take a ride on
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, stop to meet your favorite princesses at
Princess Fairytale Hall and maybe even grab a reservation at
Cinderella's Royal Table. In EPCOT, you can't miss
Frozen Ever After and
Turtle Talk with Crush! At
Disney's Animal Kingdom, take your time exploring the
Maharajah Jungle Trek and
Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail after taking a ride on the
Kilimanjaro Safari! Seat your little explorer on the outer seats of the safari vehicle to be sure that the grown-ups don't block their view! Finally, at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, your little one will love spending time at Toy Story Land, whether riding the rides, seeing their favorite characters or stopping by
Woody's Lunch Box to fuel up for the rest of the day!
Deborah, I'm excited for you to experience the Walt Disney World Resort from the eyes of a young child. I hope you have a magical stay!
Until next time,
Ashley
